ford carsFord Australia has the cool and innovative Falcon model exclusively for the “down under” market. Unfortunately, that’s the only place where you can enjoy a Falcon. And now, the Falcon has gotten even better.

According to Performance Vehicles General Manager Rod Barret, the tweaks and modifications on the Australian Ford Falcon have created a “glimpse of a new era in Australian performance motoring.”

But the Ford vehicles with performance enhancements don’t stop there. The Australian branch is also making changes to its GT sedan, F6 sedan and Super Pursuit Ute models. And instead of sporting the characteristic trademarked Blue Oval, these vehicles bear FPV badges  in the center of the front grille and on the back of the trunk. This helps to “reposition” the brand to get consumers to think of the performance line of vehicles instead of the typical Ford brand.

Some of the new features and improvements you can look for on the new Ford Performance Vehicles include better handling and safety advancements. Consumers can also choose between manual and automatic transmissions, depending on their personal preference. The best part is that there’s no extra cost for either one, unlike the pricing with many vehicles on the market today.

Ford won’t release many other new advancements until June, when the new models come out. Unfortunately, you won’t see the Falcon in the United States, at least not any time soon. But you can still find great Ford vehicles at your local dealer.
